Memories Of A Party And Miyamoto's Scornful Gaze
First off, let me just say thanks to everyone who came to the Pilsner on Friday night for the GayGamer gathering. It was really quite heartwarming to see so many people there, holding onto their DSes and interacting with flirtatious glances, suggested bouts of Mario Kart DS and drunken ramblings. For once, I didn't feel like the only gay in the room that knew the names of every Final Fantasy character ever. I enjoyed every minute, in my own quiet and neurotic way.
For those of you who couldn't tell, the Pirate Prince was the dark, buzzed head guy in one of the patio's many corners that barely spoke to anyone, yelled out angrily when losing rounds of Kart, and drank two beers before skipping out nervously with the bf. I've never been good at parties. And to those I did speak with, thanks for putting up with my mumbling responses.
To commemorate this happy San Franciscan event that I shall remember for eternity, let's all watch this mildly humorous video of two dorks jumping around downtown SF in enviable replicas of Mario Bros outfits while harassing yuppies before running into the God of Nintendo himself. Keep your eye out for another of Miyamoto-san's children lurking in the background, perhaps looking for another one of those blasted golden bugs.
My question is, how did they find him in the GDC and get him to agree to act in their video?
