MMO Cheaters Pay With Blood
The makers of Chinese MMO Cabal have started their own blood drive as a way to reenlist players who have been banned. They can get back in the game for the price of 1 pint of blood. This comes after a recent ban of over 120,000 players who used unauthorized software to boost their standing within the game.
Blood has been hard to come by in China in recent years after a scandal where tens of thousands of blood donors and recipients contracted HIV. Moliyo, the company who runs Cabal, is offering to reenlist banned players who donate 1 pint. The company is also offering free accounts to new players who donate blood. It’s great to see a company using their game to help a country in a medical crisis. Would you do the same if your WoW account was banned?

In many places this wouldn't be available as an option for male gay gamers, seeing as gay men are banned from giving blood in many countries.
Qui: I was going to say the same thing. The Red Cross asks you if you're a male who has had "sexual contact" with another male since 1977. If your answer is yes, you can't donate.
Unfortunately, my trypanophobia would get in the way of reviving my WoW account in such a way.
