New Mario Sound Toys At Think Geek

marioblocks.jpg

These are adorable to behold and quickly annoying to hear. But they're still pretty awesome. These little Mario toys come all the way from Japan, where they're normally sold as capsule toys (meaning they're distributed via vending machines in random boxes), but Think Geek has imported them just for you. The sound blocks are available in three different types: regular Mario, Fire (Island) Mario, and regular Luigi.

All three figures play: coin sound, jump, and items coming up from a block. And each one has a special sound: Mario gets powered up, Fire Mario shoots a fireball, and Luigi gets an extra life.

Hit the link below to see a video of these suckers in action.

Man, thank God I have willpower, otherwise my apartment would be filled with Final Fantasy summon dolls and crap like this. There sure is a lot of it. Animal Crossing pencil tops almost made me break, but I held out.

That Katamari shirt though.. might... not... be able... to resist...

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
