NYC Cooking Mama: Cook Off Launch Party!
Oh Nintendo World Store, you bastion of Nintendosity here on the otherwise dull, quotidian East Coast! To celebrate the launch of the Wii's Cooking Mama: Cook Off, Majesco and Nintendo are teaming up to host the Cooking Mama: Cook Off Challenge at the Nintendo World Store in New York's Rockefeller Plaza. What will that look like? Half a dozen kids cowering before an army of stylus-tapping, gyoza-wrapping homos. In my dreams, anyway.
Kicking off at 11am and running through 4pm, the event will feature an actual human chef cooking up Mama-worthy tidbits, and a competition of in-game Cooking Mama: Cook Off culinary skills at stations peppering the store. Those who cut the mustard will get a copy of the game, but everyone will be able to snag a limited edition Cooking Mama apron.
A Cooking Mama apron, people. Think about that. Just...think about it.

If I might direct your attention over to the Social Chat Forum, I started a thread trying to organize a mini-meet-up to attend this event and grab lunch. If anyone's interested, hopefully we can get organized. I plan on being there at 11 sharp to get my hands on one of those aprons!
