Platinum Gundam Figurine
I thought I was badass when I was a kid because I had the full-metal Voltron set, not the cheapo plastic version. Sure the metal figures were smaller than their plastic counterparts, but I could tell quality even when I was a tiny Toots. Now I’m feeling some serious robotic envy for a solid platinum Gundam figure with a .15 carat diamond brain. I’m not the biggest Gundam fan, but I love platinum, diamonds, shiny things and robots. This blinged out figure stands 125mm tall and weighs 1,400 grams. It is comprised of 89 total parts and is valued at $250,000. Bandai teemed up with jeweler Ginza Tanaka for this limited edition piece that will be showcased at the Basel World 2007 jewelry trade fair in Switzerland. This statue is enough to make any Paris Hilton socialite jealous. Poor Paris, our prayers are with you. Stay out of that big house mamma!
