PlayStation's Online Store Lampooned (I Love That Word) By Penny Arcade

Sony just doesn't seem to catch a break. Penny-Arcade pokes fun at the PlayStation's Online Store in their most recent comic. From the looks of it, and they usually are not that far away from the truth, the service seems to be overly-redundant with a dash of silly on top. While I am not the owner of a PS3, perhaps some of you are? Is the comic fairly accurate? I know Tiny has a PS3, perhaps he can shine some light on this with his experience. Follow the link to view the comic in all of its hilarity.
Joy, And Joy Unrelenting [Penny-Arcade, thanks Jimmah!]

Yup. That pretty much sums it up. Well, actually, for Sony, it's spare and utilitarian. Which means that for most human beings, it's a little much. A lot much.
Sony is consistent in several things, but their constant willingness to bloat every bloatable piece of software, process, or action is a true mystery. Ever install FFXI? Only a simple three day process! What could be easier?
Background downloading (which was not an up-to-speed launch feature on the 360, either) is supposedly coming to the PS3, with some major caveats, but yeah. Yeah.
