Sam & Max Brings Episodic Content To Consoles

sammaxcomic.jpg

In a recent interview with Shacknews, Dan Conners the CEO of Telltale games spilled some very choice beans. It seems that the episodic Sam & Max series will be appearing not only on the Virtual Console but the Xbox Live Arcade as well. Conners said that he wants the series on all consoles, but they will begin with the VC and XBLA.

The recent iterations of Sam & Max have been quite good, and it’s great to see them branch out to a console audience. The Wii version should fit well on the Virtual Console considering that the rest of the offerings are old console games. I’m interested to see how well the XBLA version will do. XBLA is known for some fast paced, twitchy gameplay, Sam & Max is anything but twitchy. Expect to see them later this year on Wii and Xbox 360. I imagine this move should open up all of the consoles for episodic content.

LOVE Sam & Max!

Now, the only question is which one do I download? Do I go with the VC version because using the Wiimote to point and click will be a better interface, or the Xbox one because the graphics will be a little nicer? Or opt for the one that's cheaper?

Or, do I just cave and download whichever one is available first?

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
