Second-Hand Smoke Kills PS3s Dead. What?

Well, at least Play-Asia cares about your health. Or, actually, they care about your PS3's health - since they're offering this $16.90 "Dust & Nicotine Guard" for pre-order. I'm sure they mean dust and smoke, unless nicotine is as addictive to the cell processor as it is to actual people? I'm not the first to ask how much, exactly, you'd have to smoke to put your PS3 at great risk, but it seems like it'd have to be enough to put your own lungs at a more immediate risk, yeah?
But even if I lived with a whole family of chain smokers (or Pigpen), I'd be more worried about overheating from airflow restriction than PS3 cancer or particle buildup. Do I really want to put a muffler on my hot black box?
Don't answer that.

Must.... answer.... silly.... question... ARGH!!
Does anyone actually own one of those PS3 things? LOL
Well, I actually assume it is an update for this slightly expensive grill.
I mean, think about how nice your steaks will taste when it gets even hotter!
Well, the issue here would be fear of dirt building up in the PS3's CPU fan and clogging it, leading to even more overheating.
So far this year I ended up cleaning 2 PCs that were so full of dust that they kept freezing or shutting down, and actually needed to use tweezers to pull out clumps of dust that have ended up compressed under and in between the CPU fan. Add to that the fact that there are 3 cats in my house shedding all over the place and people have certainly not been cleaning up the place often enough, and this sort of thing can happen more quickly.
Perhaps some people noticed the same potential problem with the PS3, and decided to offer a bit of preventative maintenance in order to extend the life of the system. After all, people are paying as much as the cost of a new PC for this system, so shelling out $16 every few months for a filter that keeps dirt out of the system would appeal to them. I doubt that SONY will allow people to open up their PS3s and clean them or blow compressed air into them and still honor the system's warranty.
