This Is Living Take 342: Dancing Bubba
Aren't you sick of these commercials yet? You should be. It's not really clear why Sony feels the need to push the PS3 so heavily in Europe slash the UK through the use of mildly unsettling and expensive looking commercials made by what I can only assume were the creators of all those movie-looking music videos that were so popular in the 90's for electronic music.
Although I don't have cable (gasp), I haven't seen any American PS3 commercials beyond the little white room and the bloody chess piece, the crows and the SIXAXIS, etc. When you think about it, both types of commercials are strange and memorable, and that is clearly the best way to market something so that it sticks in the minds of viewers. What I don't understand is why the UK needs it's own set of commercials when the one's we have over here would do just fine, and wouldn't cost extra to make! Doesn't Sony need to watch it's spending?
While you ponder that thought, watch Bubba, dancing and having a blast thinking about his PS3. I didn't come up with the name, so don't jump down my throat.
