*A gay gamer survey conducted by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign sheds light on the gay gaming community.

* Sex in Video Games author Brenda Braithwaite talks sexuality and homophobia in video games.

* Jesus hates the Wii, but Celine Dion and old people love it… Therefore, Celine and old people are Satan.

* Our hearts flutter when we hear a rumor that Dead Rising might get an online co-op mode.

* The world stops turning when we get news on a trailer’s release date for *gasp* GTA IV.

* Bioshock gets a street date.

* Meet the men of Final Fantasy, as well as the newest one in FFXIII.

* The GayGamer Podcast is coming on March 19th!

More after the jump...

* We love acronyms, especially when you combine TMNT and XBLA.

* Sony's had a rough week: Phil Harrision vs. the rumble; Phil Harrison makes big promises; Phil Harrison says Sony just wants to talk; and then Sony throws down with Kotaku's Brian Crecente... and loses.

* Did video games kill the comic book star?

* Speaking of comic books, I'm still going to pimp my last weekend's New York Comic Con coverage.

* EA + iTunes = More $ for EA

* We love movies: News on Justice League, Silent Hill 2 and a mini-movie for Assassin’s Creed.

* Why not? We hear Guitar Hero on the Xbox 360 will feature the Halo theme.

* And finally, this was a big week in video game baking: We say "wow" to the WoW cake, and the Rayman Raving Rabbids cupcakes just look, well, rabid...

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
