Ubisoft Officially Announces TMNT for Xbox Live Arcade

According to GameSpot, Ubisoft has confirmed that Konami's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game will indeed be coming to the Xbox 360's Live Arcade! Rumors had been swirling about over this game and now it has finally materialized. I remember playing this back in 1989, I was only about 8 years old...and I would play the hell out of this thing. No telling how much money I threw in that arcade cabinet. You can only imagine the pleasure I experienced when it later came to the SNES...again, shell-shocking action ensued. If memory serves me correctly, and it has been a while since I dusted off that cartridge, this was one of the better arcade games released, at the time. Even though I have the SNES version, I'll still be checking it out on Xbox Live Arcade. With the upcoming TMNT movie, now seems a good time to start bringing out the goods.
TMNT Arcade will cost 400 points ($5) and "the Ninja Turtles game will feature the original's seven levels, voice chat capability, and online or offline cooperative multiplayer for up to four gamers." You hear that The Behemoth? If TMNT can do online co-op...Alien Hominid HD can, too!! Grrrr....
Are you looking forward to the release of this classic arcade game? Now, if only TMNT: Turtles in Time could make it to the VC or Live Arcade....
