Ultima Online: Kingdom Reborn Website Live
I remember playing Ultima Online a year or so after it first launched... honestly, I think those three months were the longest I ever stayed with an MMO. I'm amazed that the franchise has lasted as long as it has, given how temperamental the MMORPG market can be, and even more impressed at some of the revamps that are coming along for the new Kingdom Reborn expansion.
Speaking of that new expansion: the website is up, and it goes into detail about the new features that will occur in the UO universe... which are, mainly, the new user interface, improved gameplay features for new players, and a brand new graphics engine (which looks respectable while keeping the top-down view of the series). Of particular note is the "Before & Reborn" set of screenshots posted on the site, which provides for a rather stunning comparison.
