Yes, I'm Already Thinking About Crackdown 2
Crackdown only came out two weeks ago, but Richard over at Aeropause has composed a list of things that he’d like to see added to Crackdown 2, like "a pinch" more story, harder bosses and more weapons.
I definitely agree with those ideas, and being a Crackdown fan myself, I’d like to add to that list. Here are some fixes this panda would like to see (so take heed, Realtime Worlds):
- Not just a pinch more story… a lot more story! If you don’t count getting all the crazy achievements, you can beat this game in a weekend or less. It doesn’t have to be GTA-deep, but make it last longer. The core gameplay is just a ton of fun.
- The option to have non-online co-op. As much fun as it is to play with friends online, I have a significant other who’d like to play with me too (and it's a bit expensive to buy another TV and Xbox 360 just for that).
- Fix the wonky lock-on targeting. It does me no good to target a dead body when there are ten alive dudes shooting at me.
- Female protagonists. Crackdown shows that women can be bad guys (e.g. the lesser gang bosses), but why can’t the ladies be genetically enhanced super-cops too? (Actually, there's an interesting discussion on that here.)
While I’m at it, here are things that are done well and should not be messed with:
- Orbs, orbs, orbs. I love getting ‘em. Keep these. In fact, add more.
- The bazookas. Blowing up bad guys with bazookas has never been more satisfying. I could bazooka things all day in this game.
- The super jump. Leaping over tall buildings in a single bound is pretty much one of my fantasies fulfilled.
Okay, enough gushing. Back to playing!

Other stuff like this: crackdown, crackdown 2, microsoft, realtime worlds, xbox 360
A center camera button would be nice too.
I think an achievement for collecting all the guns would be great for starters.
An Agency Motorcycle would be pretty bichin too.
Better cell shading. If Okami can look like Japanese Sumi-e then Crackdown can look like a real comic book.
But I agree with the loving and gushing for this game... It's just hella fun and the sequel will only be better.

i would like to see a team death match cops and robbers, online, now there is a game that i would toss my copy of saints row for.
like 8 people together instead of 2 and you could beat the game in 20 mins or less that too would be rad!
