Yo! God of War Raps!

Apparently there was a contest for God of War 2 called “God of Noise,” where fans were challenged with making a God of War-themed song. The criteria? “Forty percent originality, thirty percent musical compatibility with the feel/tone of the game and thirty percent creative use of game score samples.” The result was this laughable rap track. I’m no hip-hop aficionado, but these rhymes and beats are just so silly; I couldn’t stop giggling. As your dutiful weekend writer, I transcribed some of the lyrics as best I could to better illustrate this (forgive any inaccuracies, I could only listen to this song so many times):
Constant nightmares of my family being slaughtered
But Ares was to blame for my family's slaughter
I miss my daughter
Oh I how I miss my daughter
I'm haunted by my losses that the war did offer
My enemies sought me because they're jealous of my throne now
They want a showdown?
I'll show them who is god-like
Bring the war to the world now
I'm god-like, some gods dislike
My tactics for war are beyond their sights
The want to control me, they want to condone me, they want to disown me
But in my kingdom they could never uphold me
Expect to hear “God of Noise” on the God of War 2 soundtrack, as promised. (Might be good background music for the sex mini game.)

rap is (clearly) not for the lexically challenged.

You're more of a man than me Lazy Panda. I couldn't stop laughing enough to write down the lyrics.
