A Harvey Birdman Game!

At Capcom's press event on Thursday, I felt that one little gem was overlooked: Along with the announcement of Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations on DS, Capcom also revealed that they will release a Harvey Birdman game for the PSP and PS2 (Note: Clearly, the image is of a custom DS cover, which I happily found here). I don't know about you, but I'm pretty excited to see what a game featuring the dunder-headed superhero attorney entails. All I'm sayin' is that they'd better make full use of the show's cast of insanely absurd characters: Avenger, X the Eliminator, Apache Chief, Myron Reducto, Peanut and of course, Bear. And will they pay up to have Stephen Colbert to do the voice of Phil Ken Sebben? Only time will tell...
Interestingly, this news comes hot on the heels of Midway's announcement that they're making a game for another Adult Swim show you may have heard of. As we've seen in the past, cartoons can make hit-or-miss fodder for games. But since I'm a sucker with low standards, I'll play it as long as I really, really like the license, and a Harvey Birdman game would fall into my "Sure, why not?" category (especially if it's the PS2). Now if they could just make a Venture Bros. video game...

this is among the best news i've ever heard. harvey birdman is the funniest/smartest show adult swim has ever offered - we'll see how well they can get that to translate. will phil ken sebben be the same without colbert's voice?
SWEET!
What I can't figure out is why this isn't for the DS. For an "adventure" game, you'd think a point and click interface would be pretty sweet.
Eh - I'll wait and see how it goes. I like the idea, though.
Wow, I have such a crush on Harvey Birdman. And peanut. Yeah, they’re both kinda sexy… in a birdman kinda way.
