Catalog Of Over 25,000 Games At Stanford

Steven Cabernetti, a Stanford alumnus, passed away and left behind his game collection of over 25,000 titles. His family thought his collection would be a great addition to Stanford’s Silicon Valley Archives.
The Silicon Valley Archives is home to the “world’s greatest repository of materials related to the history and development of Silicon Valley.” Included in the collection are documents and artifacts from the history of Apple Computer, Doug Menuez’s Silicon Valley collection of over 50,000 photographs, Edward Feigenbaum’s work in pioneering the development of artificial intelligence, and many more.
Approximately 80% of Cabernetti’s collection was still encased in shrinkwrap. While it would be great to keep the games under wraps, those titles must be unwrapped to catalog all of the contents
For more info about the collection, check out the video piece on CNet News.
Thanks TJ for the tip!

I wanna do that. I like cataloging stuff. >_
alum or alumnus, one person can't be an alumni, just like one person can't be a gaygamers, though I'd like to see someone try.
Dear Stanford:
As a librarian and gamer, I salivate at the thought of cataloging and archiving this collection. Please issue me a job offer promptly.
Sincerely,
Mister Roboto
