Florida Bar Pimp-Slaps JT... Again!
Since the Liar-That-Litigates revised his previously so-crazy-it-hurts counterclaim against Take-Two, I'd been a little sad that things in Florida might not be so entertainingly absurd for a bit. Thankfully, JT's existing professional misconduct hearing isn't the end of the story that, ideally, will see the delusional attorney de-clawed, spayed, and put out to pasture.
And this time, his knee-jerk homophobia plays a part. The complaint filed against JT by the Miami judge who oversaw the Bully suit has been upheld by the Florida Bar, the Florida Supreme Court, and is now awaiting trial. If upheld, the complaint could result in professional sanctions against Jacqueline.
The reason? Wildly inappropriate lies JT threw at the Bully judge, as cited in the 15-page complaint:
What you conducted in your chambers, Judge, was the equivalent of Iran leading UN weapons inspectors around the country taking them places where the illegal activity was not occurring.
The behavior of this judge was abominable. which was made all the worse by the fact that he engaged in these childish antics in front of the media in the courtroom.
Here’s a tip, Judge, I don’t just practice law. I save lives from reckless jurists like you.
You missed the gay sex… I’m sure the voters are going to love that. Go ahead, Judge. File your bar complaint. Make my day.
Hear that? He saves lives. Lives, people. He saves lives from judges and gay sex. Who could argue against that, you might be asking yourself. I'll tell you who - Norm Kent, an enduring opponent of JT's and an advocate for a little something we call sanity:
For those of us that have tirelessly opposed Mr. Thompson’s unprofessional conduct and disgraceful behavior, the latest Florida Bar complaint represents a vindication of our efforts.
