GTA IV Invades New York... For Reals
Walking down a SoHo street the other day, I saw this glorious GTA IV advertisement painted on one of the buildings. Then some guy whacked me with a lead pipe and stole my car. But really, I just gotta say, screw the politicians. I can't wait to wreak havoc on the grounds of my alma mater NYU, and hopefully drive a tank into my workplace, conveniently located in midtown Manhattan (mwahaha!). Yep, this native New Yorker says, “Welcome to the Big Apple, GTA IV.”
(Side note: I noticed immediately how the trailer apes the style of one of my favorite films, Koyaanisqatsi by Godfrey Reggio. The music for the trailer also seems to be from the movie, done by composer Philip Glass. Love it!)
