Guitar Hero Effects Pedal On The Way?

guitar_hero_mcr.jpg

The folks at Joystiq got their copy of Guitar Hero II on Xbox 360 a few days early and found an interesting tidbit in an insert that comes with the guitar:

We actually took a look at the instruction manual, curious as to any information regarding the mystery port found at the base of the X-Plorer. The gods of rock shined upon us as it is now clearly labeled the Effects Pedal port... Opposite the page is an explanation of all the buttons and gadgets found on the guitar, including an explanation of the Effects Pedal port.

And the handy explanation? “(Feature currently unavailable).” They posted pictures to prove it’s not an April Fool’s joke. (And note to self: Always read the manuals instead of tossing them to the wayside to play the game.) So now the question is... When RedOctane? When?

I'd rather they release a guitar fopr the 360 that's not entirely too small to play the game properly. The current one was designed for a 5 year old's hands, I think...
