Guitar Hero III Coming to the Wii, Xbox 360, PS2 and PS3
...and much sooner than you think! Observe:
Guitar Hero 2 for Playstation 2 launched 11/7/2006, Xbox 360 launched 4/3/2007 and both items are shipping now. Please check www.guitarherogame.com and www.redoctane.com for the most current information.Guitar Hero 3 for the Playstation 2, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii are currently scheduled for release in the United States in Fall of 2007.
Evil Avatar sniffed this information out of the knowledgebase forums over at Red Octane. All this hubub and I'm the only one of my friends that doesn't have it. I feel strongly compelled to pick this up. I enjoyed my limited experience with GH2 at Best Buy (hurting my neck in the process), perhaps it's time to bring it on home?
Unfortunately, as of press time, the forum post that Evil Avatar pointed to seems to no longer contain the part about GH 3. If you want to take a look for yourself, follow the link. Let's just wait and see if we hear anything more about this juicy tidbit, but as of now RedOctane have not replied to my inquiry.

Glad I didn't spend $90 on a Xbox 360 port of GF2. Here is to hoping they will have a wireless 360 controller and Xbox Live gameplay by the time GH3 comes out.
