Louisiana Ordered To Pay $91,000 To ESA

The Great State of Louisiana has been ordered to pay the Entertainment Software Association $91,000. This money is going to the ESA as reimbursement for the cost of fighting unconstitutional laws such as those that LA tried to pass last year that would restrict the sale of games with 'violent' content to minors and could have fined the vendor from $100 to $2,000 with up to one-year in jail.
Good job, Louisiana! Thanks to your idiocy, short-shortsightedness and listening to the lunatic ravings of Attorney Scheizekopf, you now have to pay the ESA $91,000. On top of that, the costs for drafting this bill and fighting for it has come out of the pocket of tax payers while you, the powers that be, knew that the bill had almost no chance of success. That money could've gone to other things like, oh I don't know, rebuilding New Orleans or something important like that! I'm going to stop now before I go into a full-fledged rant on my frustrations with the government in Baton Rouge...idiots. Oh well, my plane is about ready. Time to go home. /sigh
