Mario Question Block Cake...Cakes 4 Eva!

GayGamer.net reader Wes sent in a pic of this Super Mario Bros. cake his girlfriend baked for his 27th birthday. The cake isn't a fantasia of fondant, but its simplicity is dead-on cool in an 8-bit, fun way (I am biased, however, due to my love of slamming my face into cakes...in this instance, I doubt I'd get a mushroom, but who knows?). The Mario on top was put together out of perler beads, for which Ms. Wes' Girlfriend shows great skill - just check out her Flickr gallery showing more 8-bit, tech culture and artistic perler bead goodness.
[Thanks, Wes!]

My friend had a SMB2 cake that had the fab four (Mario, Toad, Luigi, and Peach)slinging smile turnips and potions. It was really well done but if cakes were gonna be this popular I would have taken a picture.
That's a great cake by the way.
I'm begining to think I've stumbled onto CakeGamer.net. The cakes! Enough with the cakes!
Are you saying you're a cakeboy, TinyD? Well done. And personally, I prefer to hit the cakes with my mouth instead of my head. Perhaps that also explains the stretch slacks I have to wear these days.
Spaz is a cakeophobe! And cakeophobes don't get to play Puzzle Quest...
I am a cake boy, Casey. :) Or, actually, according to Urban Dictionary, I'm the exact opposite of a cake boy, which is apparently a meat boy.
I like the sound of meat boy. So I'll stick with that. But cake FTW!
Someone heeded my call for cakes! CAKE ON! ;)
Spaz, it's not so much about the cakes as it's about the unending love i have for my geek boy and gaming. i think gamer-love is something to share, like cake! thanks for the link, guys.
