Nintendo Replacing Buggy Twilight Princess Disks

bug.jpg

After the much-publicized Cannon Room Bug from Twilight Princess was revealed, Nintendo went to work on how to remedy the situation. They have reacted by offering to replace any buggy Twilight Princess disk with a brand new copy. The new disk will even pick up right where you left off, if you managed to save your game in the cannon room and got stuck.

All you have to do is contact Nintendo by email and you will receive a reply with this message.

Hello,

Thank you for the e-mail. We can help you with this. You need to call us directly so we can go over this with you. At your earliest convenience, please contact our Consumer Service Department by calling 1-800-255-3700. Our representatives are available between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time, seven days a week. When calling, you may bypass the recorded information by pressing "0" on your touch-tone phone. This will connect you to the next available representative.

Sincerely,

Nintendo of America Inc.

Call the above number, and explain why you are calling. The rep will then give you shipping instructions on how to send in your game disk, and receive the replacement. You need to include a letter clearly stating your name and explaining how you encountered the issue. Include your address, and daytime telephone number. Then ship that letter and the game disk to:

NINTENDO OF AMERICA
ATTN: CS ADMIN
4900 150TH AVE NE
REDMOND WA 98052-5171

Sweet and simple, just follow the above instructions and you will have a bug free version of Twilight Princess. Mighty classy, Nintendo, good call.

Does this affect both versions of Twilight princess, or just the Wii version?
'Cause I have the GC version now, and really REALLY can't see going the weeks it'd take to have the disc replaced without the game, as it's amazing in every sense of the word.
