Odin Sphere English Screenies: Witches, Rabbits And Armed Unicorns, Oh My!
Atlus has provided us with some more eye-watering images of the anticipated PS2 action side-scrolling RPG, Odin Sphere. If you haven't seen or heard of it before, pay attention now, because it looks to be one of the more original and beautiful games to come out for the PS2 in a while.
Not much effort is being put into the PS2, which is a terrible travesty, but there is still some life left in the console thanks to companies like Atlus that are willing to bring us the more esoteric of the Japanese gaming world. Odin Sphere is gorgeously cel-shaded and animated, and looks like an intricate and fantastic cartoon in motion. Characters move fluidly and consistently, with nearly every piece of the body a movable joint (no dirty thoughts, please).
Set to come out in late Spring of this year, I think we can look forward to a release fairly soon. Check out the screenshots below, and for more info and a trailer that will show how rich this game looks in a way that screenshots never will, check out the official site.

It isn't cel-shaded, it's 2D... Soooo looking forward to it :)
I just hope it can at least keep up with how it looks (I'm tired of games putting too much effort on graphics and not enough on the rest of the game), but since it is Atlus, I'd say there is a decent chance.
I've had this on my list of "must get" games, it looks great :3
