One Piece UA: Full Japanese Trailer
For all you naysayers out there, this is the video to watch. Because it is not the crappy fighting melee/puzzle game that you've come to expect in terms of the gaming side of the One Piece franchise. This is a full-on Action/Adventure game, with a story. There are items to gather as well as characters, because all of the Strawhat crew is playable. Furthermore the trailer sports images of each of the Strawhats' pasts (say that 5 times fast), which will be interesting to see as animated polygons.
Fighting will definitely be playing an element, and I think there may be an aspect of the game that allows you to pick your player and fight the CPU or another player, like a traditional fighter, but that has yet to be confirmed. Check it out. Graphics are much better than previous One Piece video games, and the production is way up there.
If you're a fan of the show, a word of warning: spoilers aplenty. As for it coming to the US, there is a rumor that we'll be seeing it released in August, although this has yet to be confirmed. It's already come out in Japan to obvious commercial success. Since there aren't many games coming out on the Wii and it's clear that Bandai and Ganbarion spent a lot of time and money making the game, the odds are better than ever that it will come stateside. With 4Kids dropping the rights to the game and anime dubbing giant FUNimation buying the rights as well--it's a good time to be a fan of Eiichiro Oda's masterpiece manga.

It's great that you're so enthusiastic about this game, but does it really warrant the tag "best wii game of all time!"? I'd argue there are already a few games out for the system that look to be more deserving of the title, and definitely more on the horizon.
