Shocking News: Guitar Hero II Hard To Find
According to an analyst, Guitar Hero II is hard to find because everyone wants to buy it. Wow. What shocking news. Who the hell actually pays these guys for their stunning insight?
A.G. Edwards’ Bill Kreher said in a note to investors today that only one copy of Guitar Hero II for Xbox 360 was available out of the 100 stores surveyed on Monday, April 23.The results compare to an April 9 survey that found 15 copies of the game at 11 of the 100 stores previously surveyed.
Kreher outlined the bigger picture for Guitar Hero II publisher Activision, stating that the lack of supply isn’t an issue of low production volumes, rather “tremendous demand” for the game.
I want to know what stores were surveyed and where they're located. I was in Costco this weekend and saw over fifty of the games in a kiosk; when I picked up Killer 7 today at Gamestop, I saw a couple of full-sized boxes behind the glass, too... as a result, I think these reported numbers might be a little suspect.

Depends on where you live I suppose, I work at an EB myself and we've been sold out since release, and rarely get the PS2 bundle in either. People are just as raving mad about Guitar Hero (II) as they are for a Wii. S'truth.
I agree with MuneTeika here... I've been looking for it for like 2 weeks now... From EB to circuit city... even Wall-mart! I'am living in the Bay area, is there anyone out there that saw one around here? Please i gotta get my frets!

The Concord Costco has a ton of them. Or they did as of this weekend.
Hmmm it's little to far away... and on the website it says it still doesn't have it... Are you sure? At the worst i'll wait for the elite 360. In some EB-Store it comes with the guitar hero 2. I'll camp at 4 am!
