Somebody Had To Point These Things Out: Twilight Princess On VGCats

twiprivg.gif

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE Twilight Princess. It's my favorite console game right now, next to Final Fantasy XII, and like that game, an absolute work of art. Even if you aren't fans of these games, you have to acknowledge the sheer attention to details paid by the game developers and the painstaking love behind the game.

That's why when I ran across certain... unusual phenomena, I couldn't help but try to quiet my mind. I often found myself, while playing Twilight Princess, feeling like I must have an unusually dirty mind. There were serious moments, amid all the whooping with excitement, when I found myself scratching my head and thinking, "what the F---!?" Maybe you already know what I'm talking about. The developers surely must not have intended such strange imagery... perhaps their minds are so pure that it never crossed their minds? A large portion of this oddness is just cultural differences, but I'm sure you'll know what I'm talking about when you take a peek at Scott Ramsoomair's latest VGCats.

It's brilliant, and made me feel a little less alone.

Despite the fact that we all know what the title refers to, notice that his drawing of Ooccoo is lacking any definition.

I hope with all my might that the Oocoo don't appear in any future Zelda title.

Twilight Princess is a very, very, very mediocre game.

FFXII is wonderful, though!
