Sony CEO Ken Kutaragi Steps Down

As predicted during last November's largely-semantic leadership shuffle, Ken Kutaragi has announced that he will step down from his remaining position as CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc., completing the process that began with Kaz Hirai's promotion to SCEI president and Chief Operating Officer. Fittingly, Hirai will assume Kutaragi's position as "full leader" of SCEI. Kutaragi will retain the title of Honorary Chairman of SCEI, but will no longer have executive management responsibilities.
Said Kutaragi:
“I am happy to graduate from Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. after introducing four platforms to the PlayStation family. It has been an exciting experience to change the world of computer entertainment by marrying cutting edge technologies with creative minds from all over the world. I’m looking forward to building on this vision in my next endeavors.”

Fun fact: Ken Kutaragi looks exactly like an asian version of my kali instructor.
Translation:
"See me stab myself to death with the wireless controller in a very clean way - the rumble function would have caused a bloody mess, and further supports the theory that we have indeed concentrated on what our loyal fans really wanted. I take full responsibility for both the overpriced PS3 and the lack of innovation and good games. Check out my after-life real estate. Sure, it's bloody expensive, but you get the best view at an invisible lake!"
