The Evolution of Gaming... in Pictures
The folks at PlayStation Universe have taken the time to make nice little image comparisons of the most popular video game franchises. Each image shows the jump the series' characters make from console to next-gen console, including Mario, Halo, Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy and Tekken. It's really astounding to see the graphical leaps and bounds these franchises have made. Can you imagine what's next?

Meh. Wasnt as exciting as I thought it would be. They just took simple little pictures of characters and stuff. I dont know what I would have done, but I know they could have done more for that.
What they could have and should have done is discussed how the gameplay has evolved as well. For example, I played FFVII again this summer and enjoyed it. I just finished FFXII and thought it was ok... it would be nice to talk about the gameplay differences between the two games and how whether they are still enjoyable or not. I doubt I could go back and play Tekken 1 again...
That could have been done much better. Like labeling the pictures as to what console they were from.
Also for Final Fantasy they jumped from VII to XII then to XIII? Wtf? Plus XII was in game graphics and XIII was FMV graphics. They should be copmparing like to like for a better view.
Meh.
wait wait wait, there were Final Fantasy titles BEFORE Final Fantasy VII?? that's just insane!
