Thompson Sues Kotaku?
Does this mean the FBI saw him for the crackpot bully he is? Or just that since the man can't have Take-Two, he'll go after increasingly smaller fish until he finally feels vindicated? JT has added Kotaku, via parent company Gawker Media, to a suit that already includes the members of the Florida Supreme Court. Esteemed company.
Thompson's itty-bitty fists are raised in anger again because of comments made on a now-infamous (thanks in large part, of course, to Jackée Thomspon) Kotaku post that quite rightly criticized the man's knee-jerk blame of video games rather than psychopathy as the root of the Virginia Tech shootings. In his amendment, Thompson accuses Kotaku of refusing to take down allegedly threatening comments on the post as he'd requested.
Another temper tantrum, another poorly constructed, resoundingly hollow threat from a bottom-feeding, opportunistic parasite. If they disagree with you, Jack, sue em? Is that how it works? What a tremendously successful argument for legal reform.

The man needs to just...go away. Forever. Unfortunately he's a publicity whore, and I predict he'll keep doing increasingly stupid things in order to get attention.
Jack Thompson is the biggest drama queen around. If I ever see him, I'd kick him in his lady balls and blame Minesweeper. The assault charge would be worth it.
It'll get thrown out, if the cards are played right. ...but I imagine very little, if nothing at all, will come of it.

You know, Jack Thompson's just been getting angrier and angrier lately. Maybe he's been playing too many violent video games.
Doesn't he ever get counter-sued? If that's the language he speaks, perhaps he needs a good "talking to". Maybe if he keeps getting hit in the bank account himself he'll eventually be forced stop all this foolishment.

Please stop giving him publicity. Refer to him by code if you must, but you're only giving him credit by adding another google hit to his name. If nobody had objected so strongly against what he says and does, he would now be sitting at home getting high on cough medicine instead of being invited to TV interviews. Call him raging douchebag, as suggested before.
I agree we should stop giving him any sort of publicity, good or bad.

*Shakes head* No, then all the people would have to listen to would be Thompson himself, and dispite what you might say, he'd be on even more TV interviews then he is now.
Its sites like GamePolitics and this site that keep things like that happening by posting the bad news about him as well.
I think that if you say "Raging Douchebag, a publicity-seeking lawyer from Florida whose real name we won't print here, ..." at the beginning of articles about him, it will spread the word without feeding his "name in lights" fetish.
