Tower of Terror! HL2 Edition
I must admit that this mod for Half Life 2, featuring the awesome Tower of Terror thrill ride from MGM Studios, Disney, is very accurate and I love what they've done with it. The creator obviously spent a lot of time on it. He even has 5 creepy G-men in the haunted corridors of this once glamorous hotel. No doubt that the G-man is having a wonderful time, though.
This was awesome ride and in watching this vid, I got the same eerie memories that I had when I rode it for the first and 15th times, that day on my band trip (yes, I was a band nerd and the Drum Major my Senior year, how gay). On one trip through it, they had to stop the ride and turn on the lights. What did I see? A magnificent hotel done in complete detail for that time period...I was awestruck at the work they put into it. It truly looked like a functional hotel. Then the lights went out and I peeped myself whilst falling 13 stories...repeatedly. Anyways, enjoy the vid!
