So yesterday I posted what I consider to be one of the greatest Nintendo advertisement parodies ever. Thanks to my faithful friends, it's been pointed out to me that the ad is actually one in a series created from a 1980s Nintendo catalog. The pictures themselves must have been considered cutting edge back when they were produced, but now they're practically high comedy on their own. The captions, in turn, are even more brilliant because each one is increasingly offensive and deals with topics such as radioactive TVs, incest, and just a little bit of pedophilia.
Brilliant. Simply brilliant.

i'm glad to say i don't own any of the paraphernalia within. although the camouflage mario shirt's pretty cool.

Can anybody confirm these are genuine? I know from own experience how "totally rad" the 80s were, but this is *way* over the top. You sure this isn't an april fools mock-up?
