Ace Attorney 5 Announced!
In an article on Bloomberg Japan, Capcom announced the development of the 5th entry to the Ace Attorney series! You'll remember that recently, the fourth game was announced and the confirmation of the 3rd (Trials and Tribulations, starring Phoenix Wright) was soon after. The fourth game, apparently, has sold the most copies of any entry, so far. ...and yes, it would seem that the fourth game has come out before the third is finished. How strange. At any rate, I'm still looking forward to them all!
[Note: Phoenix Wright 3 is out in Japan...on the GBA. A DS version is slated for release on August 13, 2007. The English release is set for September 25, 2007.]

Correction: The third Ace Attorney game is already out!
Known as Gyakuten Saiban in Japan, Phoenix Wright has had Four JP releases and Two US iterations thus far. Gyakuten Saiban 3 (Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations in America) has been on Japanese shelves for a while, as made evidence by the release of Gyakuten Saiban 4. Trials and Tribulations is currently being translated for English audiences.
I would assume this number five you speak of is still only on the Japanese radar. Don't worry-- They are coming out in order!
