BioShock Water Trailer...Yes, Water.
Today's morsel of slavish devotion to BioShock has a theme: water. Wasser. Aqua. L'eau. ВОДА. Any way you say it, it's wet. And if you're underneath a whole bunch of it, maybe stranded in a dystopian nightmare and surrounded by voracious meanies, you might be in Rapture, the home of BioShock.
With that in mind, let's hold hands, click play, and watch the many ways in which Irrational Games has used this so-called "water" to their advantage. While the aquatic visual effects are undeniably sweet, I was struck by how the sound effects enhanced the watery goodness - it looks and sounds like a very immersively wet experience. I'm ready for prune hands.

It's incredible how much I am seething with anticipation for this game, I really hope it doesn't turn into another system shock. That is an awesome game that doesn't sell.
