Blizzard Counting Down To...
Who knows!? I am, however, curious to know what you might think or are hoping the big announcement will be? If you visit Blizzard's main page, you'll see a timeline of their biggest games. That timeline, after WoW, ends with a question mark. While some 'well placed sources' made mention of a StarCraft MMO, I have sever doubts about such a thing which would compete heavily against a property from the same company. ...but who knows!? I'm thinking it may be a continuation of the Diablo series, but a new StarCraft game isn't very difficult to fathom. Neither is a fourth Warcraft. So what do you think/hope it will be?

I'm hoping for Diablo III, big time.
If that doesn't pan out, there's still Hellgate: London.
It's some Diablo property, that much is sure. I'm not sure I could really get behind a World of Diablo, since WOW pretty much ripped everything out of D2 already. And Diablo 3 probley wouldn't be for me, the whole shallow brainless click-click-click faux-RPGs are just so boring.
Apparently you don't often read comments, because I've seen this mentioned before:
Such an MMO from Blizzard would not be in competition with World of Warcraft because WoW's product life-cycle has (at best) only 2-3 more years before functional obsolescence.
The development time for an MMO based on Starcraft would be at least another year or two years, meaning that Blizzard would be picking up all of the members leaving WoW just as the exodus of players becomes most significant.
However, Diablo does seem to be highlighted pretty prominently on that page, so maybe it's a Diablo project. All options are open, it seems.
does everybody think that the new game could be a sequel?
it might just be a brand new franchise all together...
Pretty much everyone thinks it's Starcraft 2 or a Starcraft MMO, I'm hoping for Diablo 3.
