Eternal Sonata/Trusty Bell English Demo Online
Namco/Bandai, in a surprising move, has released on Xbox Live an English playable demo of the game known by the mulitple names of Trusty Bell: Chopin's Dream or Eternal Sonata... but in Japan. Although more Japanese people probably know English than Americans, it's still a strange move.
But never fear! Due to cross regional downloading not being blocked, you can sign up for a japanese Xbox Live Silver account if you really must play it. Which might be a good idea, because the entire demo is in English, including the voice acting. The demo mostly allows you to test out the battle system, which is unsurprisingly (the games are made by the same designer, Tri-Ace) similar to the Star Ocean and Radiata games. Three shockingly cute characters are playable in the demo, Allegretto, Polka and Beat.

It's made by Tri-crecendo (Baten Kaitos), not Tri-ace (Star Ocean, Valkyrie profile).
Can't wait for this game! ^_^
When I first saw my friend playing this game, I instantly thought about Baten Kaitos. I loved Baten and I can tell I'll like this game.
I actually thought about getting an xbox 360 just for this game...
Should note, that if you have a Japanese 360, it will actually download in Japanese. So, Japanese players WILL be seeing the demo in Japanese. American players with Japanese 360s will also get the Japanese version.
This just says to me that they've set it up for American release but just haven't allowed access to American accounts yet. So, getting a Japanese account will get you around the access problem, but you will in fact get the American Demo. Cool, huh?
Still hoping against hope those multi-platform rumors come true.
