First Guitar Hero: Rocks the 80's Songs Revealed
I've been rocking my face off on Guitar Hero II lately (I'll be bringing you a review soon) and now come s the totally tubular announcement of the first seven tracks from the upcoming Guitar Hero: 8Rocks The 80's!
- I Wanna Rock (by Twisted Sister)
- I Ran (by Flock of Seagulls)
- Round and Round (as made famous by Ratt)
- I Want Candy (as made famous by Bow Wow Wow)
- Metal Health (as made famous by Quiet Riot)
- Holy Diver (as made famous by Dio)
- Heat Of The Moment (as made famous by Asia)
According to the press release, Guitar Hero: 80's Edition is being touted as a PS2 exclusive although that does seem a bit curious considering how well GH II is doing on the 360. I just hope this doesn't lead us to absurdly priced downloads if we want to get any of these tracks. Something tells me a 360 version will follow soon after or Red Octane is going to have an angry crowd of living room rock stars pounding on their doors with torches and pitchforks.
I for one can't wait for this edition to come out. This is the music I spent much of my teen years air guitar-ing in my bedroom and now I can spend middle age playing them on a plastic guitar in my living room. I don't know which is worse...

...and I think the final stage should be "Bela Lugosi's Dead" by Bauhaus.
Did they ever fix the Whammy bar issues? I keep on hearing about the patch causing the 3 red lights on the 360. So I have not download it yet. Just want to be sure, before I download it. Kinda have not heard anything if the patch itself has been fixed or not.
Quiet Riot is the only thing interesting me.
and its not even one of the songs I like.
