Folklore: Japanese Trailer
This gorgeous footage is the Japanese trailer for Folkore on the PS3. It strikes me as a sort of Final Fantasy meets Fatal Frame (minus the camera) type game all set in what seems to be Ireland. The thing that really attracts me is the village of Lemrick. A place where the living can meet the dead. Mmmm, scary! Is the game a must have? Only time will tell, but I'll certainly be keeping an eye on this game from JapanStudio. While we wait for more details on Folklore, click play on the vid and leave your thoughts.

Ok, well now i am interested in this, love that song too.
I don't think I need to point out that the game looks gorgeous! But what about the story? Hopefully it has something new and refresing without stereotyping the characters.
....I didn't like the music that they put with the trailer. It just didn't go with it and hopefully it's not part of the actual game. It made it looked less magical compare to the English trailer:

Yes. This game is looking more and more like a must buy.
They really had me at the henshin sequence. Looks like God of War with much less stereotyped masculinity.
...with a touch of Silent Hill (but prettier) and Ico (girl in a cage).
This is what I've been waiting to see for the PS3; about bloody time. Sony won the last console war not with superior hardware, but with quirky, *different* story and character driven games.
I really hope this is a sign of things to come.
