Folklore Screens

Game Republic's upcoming action RPG for the PS3 received much love this week at the Sony Gamers Day event in San Diego - in addition to a bevy of new screens that make the game look every inch the winner, the game formerly known as "Monster Kingdom: Unknown Realm" was rechristened Folklore, thank the powers. I've had about as much as I can take of these generic RPG titles and their increasingly stupid wordiness. By the time I get around to playing Tales of Untold Legends of Lost Magic Monster Hunter Kingdom of Paradise's Secrets of Mana from Heaven, is it really any surprise that I'm confused and a little irritated?
I raise my cup to cutting through the localization and translation bullshit and just giving games cool, evocative, occasionally helpful titles. "Folklore" is fine - and from the screens I can see it's a kind of Monsters, Inc meets Fable kinda-sorta-thing, which is about as far as I'd have gotten with the previous wordy and inane title. Did I mention that I think "International: Zodiac Job System" is stupid, too? It makes the game sound like some kind of trans-Pacific worker exchange program, which is just not hot.
Anyway, for screens of Folklore that are hot, make that jump!

Hmm the main guy looks a bit like Adrian Brody.
