Guilty Gear Coming To Wii, Wii-Mote Not Required

I remember playing the original Guilty Gear when it first hit America for the PS1, nearly a decade ago. I've enjoyed most of the series' games over the years, with a few somewhat lackluster bits in the middle, but was kind of apprehensive when I first read that Guilty Gear Accent Core (seriously, I've never understood why they choose the names they do) was coming out for the Wii because I worried that we'd have to stand in our living rooms trying to execute insane martial arts moves in order to play the game. Well, apparently that's not going to be a problem: word has slinked out that the game will require either GameCube or Classic controllers in order to play. Oh, thank God.

BoT wins again! I'm definitely happy about this news and once I get a Wii, I'll be hunting you down for a few matches. I just hope that drop out the direction shift mechanism they had in Isuka (Yeah, it makes sense but it more or less just gets in the way, especially in a one-on-one match with another human player).
Yeah, I wouldn't worry about the Isuka style gameplay, IIRC, Accent Core is the latest in the line of GGXX revisions (#Reload, Slash, etc), with what looks like a lot of changes (enough to make it purhase-worthy for sure).
Is it hot in here or is it just the cutie with the midriff and the scythe... Phew!
oh britget..
I'll take a piece of that, please.
I thought it was Cher at first.
