Guitar Hero III Footage
Guitar Hero III footage is popping up at last, giving myself and my fellow fretful strummers something to ogle between practice riffs of "Psychobilly Freakout." It is perhaps a symptom of Guitar Heroitis that merely watching these vids makes my fret fingers twitch... but daddy will pull off some licks soon enough...just breathe, Tiny.

Here we see the new HUD, where cool little ampules of Tesla-lights replace the Star Power meter and the score/chain counter looks like a miniature amplifier, sorta. Also, now that Harmonix is owned by MTV and slaving away toward Rock Band, developer Neversoft has had to strum up their own code, making the timing a little different.
Check it out and let us know if it rocks or not. No encores tonight, baby - I'm a rock snob.

The nylon effect does look nice. I like the background but i really hated the blur they added. Looks pretty ugly, hope they fix it ;P
On the other note, I presume it's Izzy Sparks in the first video fretting with the Jack sparro... huh Keith Richards look!
Different timing...again? I'm still not used to the change in timing from I to II yet!
I think GH3 is going to rock! I've been keeping up with the news on it and the song list looks like it's going to be another winner! However, some Metallica Ride the Lightining or For Whom the Bell tolls, would be icing on the cake! So yeah i'm looking forward to purchasing the new version! By the way whoever was playing slow ride on the You Tube was lame!!!
