Halo 3 Will Look Better

At least that's what Bungie told Next-Gen. I was somewhat annoyed with people who bitched and moaned about the Halo 3 Multiplayer BETA not loking like anything more than Halo 2.5. Well, no shit. It is a beta, after all and I thought the graphics looked great given its stage of development. Bungie's Frank O'Connor said we should be really happy with the graphics alone come September 25. Here's what else he had to say:
“We have a long time to polish and iterate on the largely complete game at this point. We’ll be working on some big ticket items as well as making sure that the little details, like decorators and shaders are all in place. Lighting and atmospherics are going to be big keystones in our look and feel, and those really haven’t been shown except in multiplayer to this point."
Good, I'm feeling better already. I just need one or two more days of having my ass handed to me on the Beta and I'll hopefully talk about then. In the meantime, I'll be looking forward to Sept. 25...just 4 days after my birthday. Good times will be had, indeed.
