Liv Tyler Cast in New Hulk Movie
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Liv Tyler (better known as Lady Arwen) will star in Marvel Studios' new Hulk movie The Incredible Hulk. She'll play Betty Ross, Bruce Banner/Hulk's love interest, opposite Edward Norton, who was recently cast as the green behemoth.
Ross, a classic "Hulk" character from the comic book's beginning in 1962, is Banner's fellow scientist and an ally in his quest to rid him of his lurking monster deep inside. The movie will unfold with Ross estranged from Banner (Norton), but with the pursuit of the Hulk heating up and Banner on the run trying to cure his condition, Ross finds herself swept back into his life.
Jennifer Connelly last played the character with Eric Bana as the Hulk in Ang Lee's critically panned adaptation. While I was disappointed with that flick, I didn't hate it; I did like Bana and Connelly in it. But with Louis Leterrier (Transporter and The Transporter 2) directing, how this one is gonna turn out is anybody's guess.
