Shigeru Miyamoto Is Number 92 On The Time 100
Time has made Shigeru Miyamoto number 92 on the Time 100 listing those who are transforming our world as a "Builder & Titan." Millions have played his games and many more have been touched by Nintendo in some form or fashion. Professional gamer, Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel wrote the piece about Miyamoto and how, with the Wii, he has brought his own world into the world of others. Both young and old actively play Wii. I find it amazing just how far reaching that system is. For example, one of my best friend's mom plays Wii just so she can play WiiSports...namely tennis. My own parents are fans of the Wii and my dad has discussed getting one for themselves. Just think, this is the first time that your physical actions have been translated into on-screen movements for a console. Miyamoto has expanded the gaming market and introduced a new way to play games. Well done, Miyamoto-san! You're an inspiration for all and we cannot wait to see what else comes from your mind and your hard work!
