New Final Fantasy PSP Title Announced

Dissidia. Latin for "disagree". And now, the newest Square-Enix RPG announced for the PSP? I know what you're thinking. Oh, this must be part of the Fabula Nova Crystalis thing Squenix is up to, since they're a big fan of using latinate verbiage in those titles. Well my dear rhetoric nerd, I'm afraid you'd be wrong.
Based on the title, Final Fantasy: Dissidia, and the game's logo, which is at your right, there's a feeling that the game will have a theme of opposites, dichotomy and opposition. That, and the two characters looking markedly like the legendary summons of opposing elements, Shiva and Ifrit (or a mermaid and Milon Z).
So where can you find out more about this game? Check out the official Japanese site, which went live today, and find out nearly nothing after the flash intro. New details will apparently be coming after the big Square-Enix party coming up this weekend. Stay tuned, my Final Fantasists.

I read from jeux-france that the figures in the logo are actually Cosmos, the deity of light, and Chaos, the deity of darkness.
The same site said something about the game mixing up characters from various FF-games. It mentioned the Light Warriors from the first FF, and Zidane, Kuja and Garland from the ninth.
All of this is just unconfirmed rumors, though.
So if what S says is true
we have an SNL Skit waiting to happen
