No More Half Life 2 Black Box

The Black Box version of Half Life 2: Episode 2 has been officially yanked from production. The set was intended for returning customers, who bought Half Life 2 and HL2: Episode 1, and would have included a copy of Half Life 2: Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2. Now all of the games listed above will come bundled in the Orange Box which will be released this fall on PC($49.99), Xbox 360 and PS3($59.99).
"Those who purchase the PC version of The Orange Box will get three separate Steam product codes: One for the three new games, one for HL2, and one for Episode One.” Doug Lombardi, Valve’s director of marketing, told IGN. “This way a PC Orange Box owner can give away their Half-Life 2 or Episode One unused Steam product codes if they don't need a copy of those games. We are excited to deliver the highest value of new gaming content ever offered in one box."

Bullshit.
They're not rewarding their previous customers, they're giving them the choice of :
a) Buy it online, bitches, like we want you to so we can bypass those EB World jackasses who scare off our customers, or
b) Pay the full price bitches, because now we can get yo for another $60 and make you sell the parts you don't want on eBay, which some of you won't do, because we own your asses.
Either way, it's a sucky choice. Maybe I'll just skip out on either one, because I happen to like buying a piece of hardware just in case Valve goes out of business or something someday (hey, it's happened - remember Ion Storm?).
So... it kinda sounds like they just changed the name, right?
Bah, i already pre-ordered the 360 one. I shouldn't really care...
Damnit... Pisses me off really, this will end up being the 3rd time I've bought a pack of all Half Life games... I bought the first games Platinum Edition, then I bought the entire line up, the Silver Edition, on Steam, and now I have to do it again... I paid for HL2 and I paid for Episode 1. This just pisses me off... maybe I should go for the download...then again its only a 10 dollar difference in price. The Black Box was going to be 40 bucks anyways... Meh...
I'd planned on buying the Black Box, but now that I think about it the Steam direct-download choice seems like a better alternative anyway.
