Super Mario Bros. Bizarro World
Something happened to Mario Bros., and it ain't pretty. Actually, it is kind of pretty. The whole thing is nostalgic of all those times you loaded up your favorite NES cartridge and were only met with color bars and a flashing black screen; no amount of blowing through a t-shirt or resetting could save you at times like these. Even worse, when you were in the middle of a game and it started happening. I can't say that I've ever seen an NES glitch last this long though, which reveals it's been tampered with.
Mostly I love the music, which is dissonant and 8-bitty enough to have a music theory Master's Thesis written on it. The glitch is just random enough to keep you guessing. You know what you're hearing, because it's the most famous video game tune of all time, but it escapes your grasp in a way that I find quite fetching.

Well, I was actually planning on getting a master’s in composition, rather than theory, but simply put, what was done to the audio was the same thing that was done to the video. But it's fun to listen to. And watch.
okaaay... that's what is called "hyperbole" in writing.
well i'm getting a master's in composition and theory, plus another master's in hyperbolic topology. plus i'm, like, really tall. and i drive a pirate ship to work.
