Ubisoft CEO: Sony Needs To Reduce PS3 Price

Apparently dirt poor gamers like myself aren't the only ones frustrated with the insanity of the PS3's astronomical pricing, because Ubisoft's CEO has added his voice to the calls for price reduction, for the main reason that he believes the console will have a miniscule market presence if nothing changes:
Speaking at the Reuters Global Technology, Media and Telecoms Summit, Guillemot said, "For sure Sony will have a different market share ... lower than before."He added, "They have to decrease the price quite significantly," but did not offer any suggestions as to how much the cost of PS3 needs to come down.
That reasoning seems pretty sound, especially since Takeo Takasu claimed that 500,000 copies of PS3 games need to be sold in order for them to make a profit. Personally, I think there need to be some good original games made for the console, too, but seeing as Lair isn't coming out for a while, I'm not feeling too motivated to shell out half of my month's rent money for a new console.
