V. Tech Rampage Update
The good news? The website belonging to the little weasel behind Virginia Tech Rampage is down, with a message popping up in the browser that the account has been suspended. I suspect that it's due to bandwidth issues instead of anything else, but I'm preferring to look at the bright side of things.
The bad news? Ryan Lambourn, the game's creator, is just as much of a jerk as we all suspected. Probably even moreso. Proof of this is evident in the Australian newspaper, The Daily Telegraph, which interviewed the guy:
Mr Lambourn told The Daily Telegraph he would not take the game down.'Yeah it's staying up – freedom of speech, man," he said.
...
He said he had refused an interview with Channel Seven because the TV station would not pay him.
Mr Lambourn said he wanted to buy a movie camera with the money because "I have aspirations".
"I don't have a job and I don't go to school," he said.
"I'm after a dream of artistry – I want to do a movie or animation."
Whoa, what a dreamboat: no job, doesn't go to school, and seems to take pleasure in being as utterly offensive as possible while desecrating the memories of the lives lost in one of our country's worst tragedies. Gee, I wonder if he lives at home with his parents, too.

Actually, my friend recently informed me that she beta-tested this game for him, but didn't want to be connected with it in the credits. Apparently, his previous game TopHat Villa starred her alter-ego Lillico. Which is weird. Guess he must be an o.k. guy.

At least the guy behind Super Columbine Massacre RPG had some reasoning behind his game. This guy seems to just be an attention whore who can come up with something original.
OMG, I break my ass studying art history so one day i can trully be involved in the art scene, and this little moron with no higher education, and no goal in life thinks that by grabing some spotlight with his shity game, and buying a camera he can be an artist?????

I'm standing with Morrigan on this one...I may not be an artist but I've already gotten my college degree and have been working my *** off independently trying to develop quality games.

but really, has anyone played the game? what's so different between this and the very supported Super Columbine Massacre? time? and i do hate to say this but, he has just as much right to make the game as people do to hate it.
personally, i'd have to see what stance he's coming from in the making of the game before i could make any value judgments.
