We're Going To E3, Baby!

So, it was a very exciting weekend here at the castle. Much to our delight and surprise, Tiny and I both received invitations to E3! That's right, GayGamer is going to E3! This way we can bring you coverage of the event as it's happening just like the big boy blogs. More information will follow, but start thinking up some questions you might want to ask the publishers and we'll see if we can get them answered for you.
In addition, Tiny and I will be attending a Capcom event in two weeks in NYC where we will get a hands on with the new Resident Evil games, Devil May Cry 4 and several other titles. We'll be sure to bring you all the juicy details!
We're very excited to be able to start bringing you industry news straight from the horse's mouth. But, none of this would have been possible with out your continued support, so thank you from the bottom of our black little hearts.

Dudes! Congratulations. You've hit the big time.
I think an obvious question that should be asked is if any games are being made with gay characters with prominent roles. If not why and what they think would need to happen in order for that to change. Of course frivolous lawsuits from Jack Thompson are something that publishers would want to avoid, but maybe making a gay bad guy would be overlooked by those crazy ass evangelical types.
Yay! Aww, it's so nice to see my little gayblog become a man.
OH goodie!
Congratz you guys :)
I'm conflicted. On the one hand this shows once more that gay gamers and GayGamer.net specifically are being taken more and more seriously and being seen as an important part of the target audiance for games.
On the other hand, I have a dislike for E3 and conventions that are for media/business people only. Not that I'd ever be able to go there, but the whole thing seems elitist to me.
Now as for questions, I'd like to know wether we can expect future gay characters (be they minor or major) in games to be more rounded, realistic characters instead of stereotypes. Really, those guys in Godhand are the only thing that's preventing me from buying it. Though that example is a bit extreme perhaps.
Also, how does Capcom plan to keep Resident Evil and it's zombie formula novel without steering way off the original concept, like they did with RE4?
And I'm talking story here, not gameplay.
Oh and lastly, unless I can think of more question later. Is there any hope at all for a US/EU release of Namco X Capcom? And do they realise there's actually a fairly big market for these kinds of novelty games outside of Japan?
That is great news! Glad to hear of the invitation!
One question that comes to mind is: why are an overwhelming majority of gay characters in games of the flaming queen variety?
I am sure that I am not the only one pissed off about that one.
2 questions
for square enix, will there be an english version of kingdom hearts 2 final mix+? if not will there be one with enough support?
insomniac, when can we expect to see the next edition in the ratchet and clank series?
SO SO AWESOME! Much love guys!
Do you guys know when E3 is going to be this year? I just want to know the date, get it off for work, and know that I will be able to watch the next SSBB video. See some new characters and all. By the way:
If you possible see anyone from Nintendo that has some concern to SSBB, could you ask them if they have ANY info they could possibly leak?
That would be tight if you could. Thanks!
AWESOME. See you there!
Isn't the big convention cancelled this year? Wasn't it just going to be a small gathering of people in "the industry"? No more big showroom and grandeur? I thought that's what they said last July...
????
Congrats on the invite peeps!
Here's the info for you b00ns.
